We’ll have pictures to share from the event soon, but in the meantime we thought we’d share some of the Boston highlights!
Our friend Sloanie Tim had quite the time meeting all sorts of new friends, and even took a turn at the podium himself. See all of his pictures with his friends here.
Sloanie Tim tests out the podium before the event.
We were also excited to tweet and share some of the great things that were happening at the event itself, including a few bits of Dean Schmittlein’s remarks on the history and future of MIT Sloan. Miss out on our tweets that night? Read all about it on our Storify.
We’ll be in New York tomorrow, and in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, November 21. It’s not too late to register for them and our upcoming events in Santiago and São Paulo! Join the conversation online with our #MITSloan100 #XVOnTheRoad hashtags.
Stay tuned for more from our events that have passed, and for more info as we approach the remainder of our events, all leading up to a special Colloquium held during Reunion Weekend on June 7.
In 2014, MIT Sloan marks the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Course XV and celebrates a century of innovative management education at MIT. We here in the Office of External Relations have been doing our part to help mark this important milestone with a series of events around the world, hosted by David Schmittlein, John C Head III Dean.
Where have we been? Our journey started in Singapore on July 16 and kicked into high gear when we visited Paris on September 17, followed by our London event on September 19.
Alumni and friends gathered in Paris.
October saw us traveling to Asia, where we hosted events in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Seoul, and Beijing. All told, we’ve had over 450 guests come celebrate the history of Course XV, share their own stories, and hear just a bit of what’s to come from MIT Sloan.
We were happy to host more guests at our event in London.
